Pacha Group Evaluation

Pacha Shin Guard Evaluation

After seeing the finishing product of our creation we came to a conclusion that it wasn't what we expected to be. We thought that the shin guard would be a simple creation. But we found that the shin guards were uncomfortable if being used and also hard to shape to the leg of a person. We decided at the end of the evaluation that we are changing our product idea to a phone case.

Kanga: 2, 2, 2, 2. this group is making a speaker while no power, the idea is good, it works well, but the only problem is that the phone falls over if it gets moved at all.

Pioneers: 2, 1, 2, 1. this group is designing a phone charger support, while the idea is good, the design is very simple, but if it works it could extend the life pf a phone charger significantly.

SHU Makers: 2, 1, 1, 2. The SHU Makers are making bottle openers. At the moment the 3d printer material is not strong enough to open a bottle but they are planning on including a coin in their design to get more leverage while opening the bottle.

Team International: 1, 2, 2, 2.  This team is making a new clip, they're doing this because they want to make one where it is hard for things to fall off the clip. This group's idea is alright the only problem is, I don't think that it will work that well, and it might be hard to use this every day.

    1. We found it really hard to mold to the players chin and also that it would break very easily.

  6. Would the shin guards have worked better if you had additional padding between the guard and the shin?

    1. Yes because it would be a lot safer for the player and it would be harder for the shin guard to break

  7. Is that any sort of padding that could have been added to the guard to make it more comfortable or was it doomed from the start?
